As a licensed club, the Dom Polski Centre is perfect for all types of functions with an excellent central location, full facilities as you require them, plus a pleasant informal atmosphere. We've got the space for large exhibitions and product launches-air conditioned in summer, centrally heated in winter. All with traditional Polish flavour and friendliness. The venue we offer is located in the heart of Adelaide. Bus stops and taxies are only metres away. Public and off street car parks are also located in close proximities. This map shows where we are in connection with Adelaide's city free Loop Line and the CBD.
The two story building has a wide entrance and a long driveway. The small stage on the ground floor makes it ideal for parties, cabarets and wedding receptions with the capacity for about 300 people. The wide staircase allows entry to upper floor for seminars, entertainment, balls and lunches for about 900 people. Elevated stage upstairs with back entrance and dressing rooms below gives peace of mind to presenters, entertainers and performers. Additional space (with independent bar) for another 100 people is available on mezzanine floor. Catering lift operates to all floors to provide quick service for all our customers. In addition we have an audio PA system, sound equipment, variable lights and stage track lighting that are controlled from projection room above. The building
has independent entry also to lecture and reading rooms whose areas are
approximately 37sq, 22sq and 18sq metres. This is ideal for music lessons,
and when partitions are removed these rooms offer large space for practice
sessions. This first floor venue is accessed directly from staircase near
the street footpath. Another venue located on the top floor described
as administration offices of approximately 120sq metres area also have
separate staircase accessed from inner front plaza. It has three doorways,
two of which face the balcony. Our building is cooled/heated throughout
with R/C air conditioners.
